The Safe at Home program is
part of a national response to
    the growing need for home
    safety modifications. Over 1/2
of all home injuries can be
    prevented by simple home
    modifications. Safe at Home
    licensed general contractors
    and volunteers install safety
devices such as grab bars, tub
    anti-skid safety mats, raised
    toilet adapters hand-held
    shower hose, smoke and fire
    detectors, nightlights and stair
    railings.

Major renovations are may also be completed to include ramps, widening of doorways and room renovations to accommodate disability needs.
